While writing mostly within the metal genre and a variety of its subgenres, Culak seeks to explore and channel an extensive range of experiences (such as aggression, suffering, bliss, wonder, escape, melancholy, cultivation, and peace) in a way that the listener can empathize. Culak began as a progressive metal project in early 2013 and since the release of Oblivion has developed into a tool for expressing important experiences and feelings that language fails to express alone. Because of this, the sound of Culak is essentially inconsistent and changes more-or-less significantly from album to album. Culak creates peculiar tones for each album's respective atmosphere which provides the listener a refreshing experience with every release.
