Kako si. Though my name is Nate Christopher Culjak, many of you know me as Culji. I am a Croatian 23-year-old music artist that was born and raised in Ajax, Ontario. For those that aren’t close and overall familiar with my life I’ll give you a brief introduction to how it all started. Lets start with early life, dating back to 2000, Ajax, Ontario. I was born in Lakeridge Health Ajax and Pickering General Hospital, checking in at seven pounds and 11 ounces. I lived with my parents and my three siblings living in a one bedroom apartment, struggling at the time. Soon later at the age ten we moved to Orangeville, Ontario where I started my life as a troubled teen in a lay back town. From here my music interest started. From freestyling at the back of the bus to just sitting at home and writing lyrics until three am. Music was a place where a felt accepted in my own world, when there was no downfalls only uprising. Skip about 6 years later, when I was in high school, specifically grade ten. I ending up asking my Mom to purchase me a “Blue Yeti Microphone” and I’d pay her back later (I never did). Along with the Mic, I asked my one of my buddies who was just starting music to lend me a software he was using, to record and mix as well as master my music. This whole process was to find my sound, as I was practicing my lyrics for many years before, I just needed to get down with what I sounded like and how I could make it better. Over the next two years this is when things got rough with family issues and I put music in the back seat. The depression, the anxiety, my grades all plummeting making my life a living hell. Finally in my last year of high school I decided to put my all into it and at least try to get into something that will support my income for the future.
