Lunatick Records are excited to bring to you “Good Little Automation Droids”, the new album from Pennsylvania based producer Doc Heller. 

Hailing from a future that will no longer exist, Doc Heller is the producer moniker of the more well-known emcee Darko The Super. Having stepped up his game in 2014, Doc Heller has already produced for both legends and rising stars alike. With production credits for Murdoc (Sway & Tech’s Wake Up Show freestyle champion) and up and comer Open Mike Eagle under his belt, Doc Heller is finally ready to release his first release with UK based label Lunatick Records. 

Both the title of the album: “Good Little Automation Droids” and the name Doc Heller - are taken from the 1999 Kinka Usher film Mystery Men, highlighting the many film and TV influences that Heller applies to his musical style. 

15 beats deep, the album is as varied as it is peculiar, with tracks ranging from the jazz influenced Business, to the weirdo rap production showcased on Funk Is Life. As both an accomplished rapper and producer, Doc Heller is able to tailor his beats from an emcee’s point of view, giving each track a loose feel that any lyricist would be happy to flow over. With the work rate of a seasoned producer despite his young age, it’s safe to assume that this won’t be the last you hear of Doc Heller.
