This is a really personal song about a relationship not being fully over but heading toward its end, and not knowing why it it is ending (“Was it you / or was it me?”). In “I Don’t Know,” I wrote about my separation, and having to tell my kids I doesn’t know if or when I'd be coming back home (“Our kids keep calling from your phone / Daddy, when will you come home?”). It’s for anyone who has faced the beginning of a relationship’s end, while hoping it can be saved but seeing it gradually fade away.

I Don't Know

Snowfall celebrates the beginning of the winter season, and welcomes the end of that which must end in order to make way for new beginnings.
