.Instead of using the original acapella and pitching it down, i had the monster that lives under my bed re-sing it for me! Our contract stipulated that if i let him sing on one of my tracks, after 22 years of scaring me, he'd finally stop. So i did. & as it turns out, he has a beautiful baritone voice, perfect for deep house! & he's actually a really nice guy! His name is Ralph. & if this song does well, there's a very good chance ill have him sing again for me! 

.Moral of that story, music has the power to connect & bring even the most opposite people together. So as long as you don't judge a book by its cover, you'll find something amazing in everyone you meet! Except for people who wear neon rage/yolo, and/or Molly shirts, feel free to judge that book right away...scientific research shows 99.99998% of the people who wear them, are assholes anyway :)

Originally released by Musical Freedom, the instrumental edit of 19-year-old Oliver Heldens’ deep house smash ‘Gecko’ has become a staple in club sets for 2014, peaking at #2 in the Beatport chart and garnering support from the likes of Pete Tong, Danny Howard and Zane Lowe. 

The latest edit ‘Gecko (Overdrive)’, written and vocalled by Becky Hill during a late night recording session with MNEK, is being released by Parlophone’s vital new dance imprint FFRR. Initially written for another vocalist, Becky’s towering vocal on Gecko’s chorus was deemed the perfect fit and has already been coined the ‘Hottest Record in the World’ by Zane Lowe.

Lust For Wrong is the debut release for Vinny Villbass on Eskimo Recordings. This haunting house cut features the vocal funk from the renowned Ost (from diynamic duo Ost&Kjex) and comes with a Finnebassen remix.

For 15 years, Vinny Villbass has been one of the main influences on the Norwegian club scene, with a musical focus on percussive and disco-oriented house music. In addition to having a master degree in acoustics, Håkon "Villbass" Vinnogg has been recommending music on Norwegian national radio and functioned as one of the hosts of the legendary Sunkissed nights in Oslo. He has been Diskjokke´s dj-partner since the end of the 90’s and has played guitar and synth in the DiskjokkeBand. He is also one of two curators behind the much hyped contemporary stage project Pantha Du Prince & The Bell Laboratory. Vinny Villbass is currently running the Norwegian web-portal OsloClubCast where he is building ties between the clubs, djs, and producers of Oslo.

Khan: Original is a very solid track.  Epic I would say.

Kalabrese: Naturally flowin' between voice and groove, nice harmonies and a perfect dose melancholy and of course enough funky for movin'. I like the original and I will play it for sure.
