Far from being a newcomer, Gnasha boasts a decade of music production prowess and has been featured on radio stations such as Rinse.fm and Swu.fm. Her hefty performances at festivals like Rampage Open Air and Boomtown further cement her status as a don that is rising more an more. Among her accolades are a nomination for the 2020 Duploc Dubstep Awards and a chart-topping debut EP on Juno Download. Coming from an early background of underground hip hop and hardcore band influences growing up, Symbiosa has been DJing and producing various genres of bass music for 11 years, music has been an important part of his life since his childhood. In college he discovered his love for electronic music and the refreshing outlook on life that it brings; birthing his dive into the art of producing and live performances. Since moving back to the Boston area, he has fully dedicated himself to creating his own performative works and recordings, while consistently interacting with the surrounding community that drives the bass music culture forward.


Symbiosa's unexpected and creative soundscapes have captivated listeners from many parts of the world, with his music commonly geared around various flavors of Dubstep, Trap, Dnb and Garage. He has established himself as an industry force to be reckoned with thanks to his undying zeal for pushing the frontiers of electronic music. While typically prioritizing the latest of underground sounds and sounds geared toward Hi-fidelity sound systems that are not only heard but felt, his music taste connects with a wide spectrum of listeners, aiming to break down barriers and bring people together through unique, carefully crafted experiences. 


Symbiosa has made numerous stage appearances and festival appearances over the course of his career, most notably, he has recently performed at Big Dub Festival and Dancefestopia, citing a period of growth beyond his local roots of New England and branching out into new regions. His presence on the roster of these events is a testament to his standing and skill as an artist in the industry, proudly pushing his own unique performances and original records. In the realm of live performances, Symbiosa has made appearances on billings supporting a range of artists including: Zeke Beats, DMVU, Sfam, Copycatt, Brightside, OTT, Bogtrotter, Goopsteppa, The Widdler, Eazybaked, Conrank, Luzcid, LYNY, KLLSMTH, Mr BILL, Levitation Jones, Tsimba and more


In addition to his DJ work in a live setting, Symbiosa also has achieved a level of growth as a producer, with several notable releases including EP's and a recent Album release with 4NCurrency, he is steadily garnering earned attention with each creative expression.

Secret Tape, for us, is an exercise in capturing the sound of the two of us having fun. We aimed to record the spirit of this creative relationship, and remain entirely un-serious. Both of us are nostalgic for the atmosphere of early 90’s-2000’s underground music culture. Discovery on the musician’s side as well as listeners. Novelty and pure expression unencumbered by commercial aspiration.

We found this collection of songs all shared a distinct tone and emotional component, somewhat reminiscent of old polaroid photos. Those old snapshots capture the feeling of a moment, rather than a high fidelity but sterile image.

We kept this record simple and used primarily a computer and Ableton. Also, minimalism factored into the production ethos of this project. We are attempting to reject overproduction with the limited scope of tools and techniques often incorporated into modern music production.

The songs for Secret Tape Vol. 1 were recorded in Chicago & Los Angeles during 2021 & 2022
We mixed everything ourselves and shipped it all off to a personal friend and confidant, Lukas Turza at Snap Mastering.

90s skatepark mixtapes blasting, old boomboxes, basement parties, polaroid photos as well as 90’s era boom bap and grunge sonic aesthetics, as expressed with the precision of modern electronic music production.
