Sometimes things just come together effortlessly. I put a pile of tracks together in a stack that I wanted to play in previous mixes but they didn't quite fit at the time. I came back to to this selection and this came together in a magical hour of blends. All about having patience and letting go. Old, new, dark, liquid, didnt matter. This one just fell into place like a jigsaw :)

Magic Hour VI // 'Xmas Xtra Spesh' (The Cold One)

As we start to move into spring/summer 2025 its time for the next entry in the magic hour mix series. Heavily influenced by a recent trip to fabric for 1985/GeminiGemini x Rubi Records, which was incredible. This one has a clear divide at the midpoint where darker sounds are explored. As this is the seventh entry in the series, this one goes out to Cloud Strife! Also a massive thank you to Submorphics for sending Rosebay006 over on dub. The intro tune will be out May 23rd on Rosebay, what a label & remix!
