Growing up in Tehran/Iran, Sam Eyvaz became associated with music at a young age, Starting out as a viola player in symphonic orchestras and experimental string sessions, soon he got connected to the Underground music scene in Tehran and became a indi-electro drummer, at 2014 he joined Langtunes, the band from the hometown, he moved to Berlin in 2015, currently he is doing music production, Live performance and Djing as well as collaboration with different artist and musicians with having ear of east and taste of west.

‘Bordi Az Yadam’ is the soundscape my childhood memories are channeled through. An oral abstraction of living under a roof in America while Iranian programs played via satellite, on bootlegged vhs tapes, and music from my fathers massive tape collection filled the house. 
The mix weaves Classical Iranian songs with excerpts from pre revolutionary films and plays, and poems recited by the poets themselves, all things that have touched and stuck with me forever. ‘Bordi az Yadam’ is dedicated to the memory of my loving grandmother, the person who visits my dreams most often, who was an angel walking.
