DJ Surge is a regular at Horoom and one of the most exciting of a new generation of Georgian artists currently on deck. His sets carry a hint of the vinyl lover’s fondness for early Detroit and Chicago House, though his many genre-busting transmissions reveal a much more heavily explored passion for his craft. Hopefully the first of many outings, Bassiani Podcast 141 is a diverse, seductive and pulsating blend of self-styled techno funk, effortlessly groovy and cool to the bone.
