This particular mix has and continues to have a deep appreciation in my Norteñas  and Rock en Español collection, not only because it has all my favorites but because it is a constant reminded of who I am as a proud Chicana and where I came from. Dedicated to everyone who grew up in the 90's & early 2000's and acted out these songs with their friends :P Too many awesome throwbacks to include in one mix, so look out for more volumes through out the year :)

Throwback Jamz Vol. 1

Heartbreak sucks and there is no easy way of going about it. Having gone through it myself a few times, I’ve learned that while the process of it may be an arduous one, the lessons and growth that one gains from it make it all worth it in the end. Falling in love with oneself all over again is definitely my favorite part-- A rebirth of sorts if you will. In this popurri de #ChillonasPeroChingonas I take you through my heart break journey from the “dejenme llorar” lows all the way to the “mire la noche y ya no era obscura, era de lentejuelas” highs. All songs interpreted by some of my absolute favorite chillonas pero chingonas, todo en Espanol. 
 
This popurri is dedicated to all of the friends that have been there for me through my heart break lows. The friends that have cried and sang the sorrows away with me. The friends that have reminded me of my #ChingonaMagic when I had seemed to forgotten about my beauty and power. Con muchisimo amor dedicada a mis Chillonas pero Chingonas: My Mami, Martita, Normz, Andrea, Yesenia, Carito, Nora and Michelle. Jaime Cervantes better known as WVFFLE got his start with music  As a boy when his mom listened to different types of music. he often took her walkman and listened to variety of music but his love for dance music grew once he discovered it.At 16 he was able to buy himself a small dj controller and would practice every day on it making mixes for his friends to listen to.In school he would make mixtape cds with playlists for friends to listen to but Something about that high bpm gave him a euphoric feeling and has lead him to creating his own sounds  Having a big interest in EDM he found himself loving house music the most. Just a few years ago he started producing his own house music and is trying to find his own sound.
