'Four Studies' is a collection of 4 four short tracks, a snapshot into the realms of playful musicality, and reminds us that this all doesn't have to be such a serious affair. For the title track Brabe delves deep into the Urban Torque back catalog and returns with a medley of acapellas, edits and bootlegs and creates a piece of Neo Soul so deliciously interpreted it will leave you weak at the knees. 

Tracks 2,3 and 4 demonstrate Bram's love of a lazy groove, Hip-Hop and J-Dilla, as he lays down 3 beats incorporating the jazz stylings of Maria Schnieder, Attila Zoller and Joshua Redman. Surprisingly, R. Kelly also makes an appearance... 

Oh, and so does a futuristic space unicorn.

This trip to Brasil changed our lives. We were only there for 6 days but we played 4 shows in Brasilia, Curitiba, São Paulo , & Rio de Janeiro. @sangobeats and I handpicked these songs as we were traveling around the cities and capturing a vibe. We even had to record this in our hotel room. Excuse the mispronunciation on some of the cities and track ID's, Portuguese is a tough language lol! Much love to everyone who we met and to who came out to our shows.
