Stories, not sorry is a song about when your friend promises you they haven’t done something, but you kind of feel like they have and because you’re not trusting them you feel lonely. It’s also about trying to find your image and getting lost with all the cliques. If Spicks and Specks was still running, this would be an excellent track for the mondegreens segment. Stories, not sorry is an indie-pop banger that creates a nice transition between their band-ier existing material and the production-heavier future releases. The film clip is a little tongue in cheek and continues on with 44th’s precedent of big-budget Hollywood-esque productions
