@sacrilejiorecords presents its second release in the company of portuguese DJ and producer @mesqit. Ranging between reggaeton, ‘techrreo’ and baile funk , Mesqits 'Coffin Sounds' EP is purely influenced and originated as a materialization from Egyptian coffin texts.

Since the Egyptians believed in the afterlife, they devised these spells in order to get protection from Gods for the deceased from the many dangers of the underworld.

This story initiates with a young man's demise, so each song brings us a chapter that represents every stage of his journey from the mummification process until reaching his rebirth.

“Coffin Sounds EP aims to leave the listener hyped on the dancefloor or retrospective trying to figure out the nuances of the narrative at home", Mesqit says.
