Panorama EP could be considered Erta Ale’s personal homage to the early 90's progressive house . Repetitive patterns, infectious bass lines and emotional chord progressions cooked together with precise rhythmical structures as well as featuring short vocal loops and acid lines typical for that time. The intention from Erta is to bring the crowd back in time and far from intellectualism and negative trips, in a place and time where dancing, dreaming and positive feelings were always present on the dance floor. Side B features an impeccable remix by the growing talented Italian duo we.amps, who as usual deliver powerful and tasteful dance floor tracks.

Erta Ale - Panorama EP (Solenoid Records)

Flexing spaced out electro cuts, Canadian duo Minor Sine Project are back with their 5 track EP "Stitch in Time". Tracks such as "Edge of Glory" and "A Stitch in Time" simulate expansive, acid dripped worlds with plenty of low end to shake the bass bins. "Stretched Thin" displays MSP's penchant for creating sonic blends of modern breakbeat and 4x4 rhythms. Both energy and tempo are brought up another notch on "One for the Road" and "Warp Speed", with each track further proving that Minor Sine Project will continue to twist and bend genres while always applying plenty of that signature groove to each work.

Four underground legends plus the label's founder deliver a dancefloor-ready, summer-infused EP. Five Jackin' House belters by Eddie Danielli and huge remixers - Leo Mas & Fabrice, DJ Rocca and Dario Piana.

Sampling Moods Records was founded in 2015 by Edoardo Danielli. It revives his legacy and philosophy thanks to sam sampling moods, a cultural association established in his memory in 2018. As a work of art that touches our mood, Sampling Moods Records tries to make us rediscover the power and love of House music.

Leo Mas was the protagonist and witness of the club scene phenomenon that was born in Ibiza he played at the Amnesia club (with Alfredo) during '85, '86, '87 and '88 (The Second Summer of Love) and '90 (without Alfredo which played at Pacha).
Thanks to his unique sound and innovative set he was propelled as one of the pioneers of house music and balearic sound.

Fabrice (Fabrizio Lazzari) was one of the pioneers and exponents of the Italian dance scene. He started his professional career in local clubs and radio stations in Italy and in 1989 was beside Leo Mas at the infamous club Movida in Iesolo. Secretsundaze 18th transmission comes with love from Bristol based artist and newcomer Shanti Celeste. With just a few releases under her belt on the likes of Julio Bashmore's Broadwalk, her own label BRSTL and Idle Hands (the infamous Bristol shop where she also man's the counter a few days a week) she has been quick to impress. She played secretsundaze earlier in 2015 and will play our birthday party in just a few weeks and is a fine DJ with great selection and skills. She recently played back to back with Julio Bashmore on Boiler Room. Her monthly show on NTS Radio has been building nicely so we thought it only right to invite her to do her first 12' for us. This will also be her first release on a non Bristol based label so a coup for secretsundaze we think.

A.1 'Golden' is a hypnotic, bouncy house groove that doesn't stick the regular 90's house template with some great synth action and manages to be both wistful and and bumpin at the same time. 'Nu4him' is a stunning, moody track with lush chords and Shanti's own vocal refrains. 'Golden dub' breaks it down for a more experimental techno excursion eschewing some of the melodic flourishes of its counterpart with heavy kick, 808's and some detroity vibes. Final cut 'Sun' starts off all ambient and atmospheric later picking up the pace with some more stomping electro influences.

secretsundaze has been on a great run of late with Endian's 'Finish Me' featured on the likes on Joy Orbison and Scuba's Radio 1's Essential mixes and 'SS1' on Nick Hoppner's well received Resident Advisor Podcast. Shanti Celeste one of 2015's breakthrough artists continues in that veign with 'Alma.'

Luca Lozano is back on Super Rhythm Trax with another EP, this time a vibrant 4 tracker channeling and bringing up to date, influences from the under-celebrated year of 1990, a period where house and techno began splintering off and for a while, the sky was the limit, before the beast of Hardcore swept everyone up and fed them to Jungle. Here, bleeps, breaks and bass collide in an explosion of colour sounding super fresh for 2016.
