First Time Out

Now that you have let die the tethers that held you in a place of anguish, you begin to experience more of the world with a fresh, reborn lens. New environments await. Beautiful, provoking, calm, scary ones. As you take your first steps in this new direction, you walk with trepidation. At first, it feels dissonant, uneasy. You feel unsure of your steps, shadows playing tricks on you. But the more you openly and presently engage with this new space, the more beauty and playfulness begins to shine. Those shadows aren’t playing tricks, they’re dancing to the tune of the world. A world that you contribute to in your own unique way. When your perspective changes on their expression, they in turn change how they dance.

This is your First Time Out. Have patience with yourself, trust in your intuition. This is no easy feat, but you are fully equipped to handle it gracefully. As you continue to engage with this new environment, things that would have been overwhelming and scary at the start of your journey now have the context to express to you their true nature. More experiences will hold more value the more you practice this discipline.
 This is an arduous first step, but a necessary and fruitful one.
