@wednesday_dj had an UNFOLD debut to remember two weeks ago, with a magical set that weaved trance, minimal psytrance and techno into one hypnotic sound.

After steadily making a name for herself over the last year, Wednesday took the opportunity at UNFOLD to explore the darker, faster tracks in her collection.

Kicking off the new year and picking up the tempo we have a rly nice ride from one of our good friends Wednesday. 
 
Wednesday aka Hannah's foray into the scene began with a residency with South London's Co Select who put on quality underground DIY events around the city and were early advocates for balanced representation behind the booth.  Her first two mixes demonstrated an ear for selection and programming that stood out and led to us booking her for one of our parties, not knowing she had already been attending as a punter :)  With a character that matches her cheeky style, Wednesday has slowly been building a name for herself playing across town and further afield for Together Elsewhere, RE:SISTANCE, Free Movements, Above & Below Festival, Divine Risen, Hypersoft in Berlin and regularly at UNFOLD.  
Here she jumps straight into it with just over an hour and a half of craftily woven progressive trance and minimal psy.

Captivating dancefloors wherever she plays, Wednesday intertwines her energy with her extensive knowledge of different facets of psychedelic trance music, playing at parties such as Sub:System, UNFOLD, Fast Forward, Origins & more.
In this episode, she brings 1,5 hours of high energy and potent grooves and rolling basslines.

For this 7th podcast, we’re proud to host a mix from @agata_k, a Polish DJ/producer, and former singer and songwriter, currently residing in Berlin.

Her productions and DJ sets shine by the variety of sounds she explores, blending together captivating melodies, powerful rhythms, and cutting-edge trippy sound design. During her performances, she loves combining different genres from driving grooves and trance-infused techno, to psy and tek.

She self-released her debut EP, "Realign," in June last year, and since then she keeps releasing tracks on esteemed labels such as Deestricted, No Borders, technomate, and MUSA. Berlin-based artist cunt remember shares a psy-tinted blend of techno, trance, and experimental flavours on this week's podcast. Following a first-time set at Säule last year, the rising producer and DJ has had a busy start to 2024, playing in Den Ander Side, Fitzroy, OHM and next up, OXI. Releasing on our own imprint, tm8.club, and soon to release on @splinter-cell-unit, cunt remember's debut album 'Forest Schranz' on Magdalena's Apathy (@regrets_regrets) marks another pivotal point in the Argentinian artist's story. With a background in contemporary art, cunt remember is detail-focused and merges many disciplines, from art to music to fashion, and also curates the event series "Forever Unlimited".

A: "I struggle to find the time for making music and going out as much as I used to, so these days I prefer to save my energy for special nights. However, if I had to choose, I would go for Säule (Berghain) due to its intimate size, carefully curated line-ups and atmosphere at Thursday events, and RSO for the sound system and wide variety of parties."

Polish DJ and producer Agata shares a luminous mix to ease us into the week. Layered with trance-infused techno, psy and tek, the Berlin-based artist blends dreamy melodies, sturdy drums, rippling basslines and spacious sound design into one sleek package. Since her first EP, "Realign", which she self-released last year, Agata has contributed her enchanting tracks to labels like @deestricted, @nobordersmusic, @mmuussaa and our own label, tm8.club, where she delivered the club-cut track "Drip".
