Now on their third year of forward thinking, Blu Saphir Recordings continues to expand the boundaries and change what is acceptable in the sub-genre of melodic drum & bass. Floating Dreams brings together the old vibes of jazzstep with the modern marvels of liquid engineering. Melodic keys bring in the intro alongside a half-time feel while aa male vocalist wails it out on the mic. The feel eventually breaks, speeding up the tempo and spitting the elements straight to the dancefloor – a wonderful start to a long relationship under the gemstone.

They were based on this inspiration:
For inspiration, at the moment I feel like we're living in a strange era, where the internet has really bought people together, but also wedged people apart. I think technology is great but the way we use it can be bad. I also feel we're becoming more aware of ourselves and each other, and we're trying to find a way to accept the world as a single place. I think the next 20-50 years will be a really interesting time as we figure it out. It feels like there's some deep truth we're all missing, but secretly searching for, and I don't know if we'll ever find it

This was the sound for an art installation me and two of my class mates in the "folkehøgskule" did. There were dancers, all dressed in black, and each one had a movement that reflected one of the moments in the audio track. The audience were free to walk around in the room. The setup was 4.0, one speaker in each corner, and I used Touchable to control the panning and volume of certain sounds. In other words, this was fun! :D <3
