We are delighted to feature @magicmuelli's very catchy set for Natural Positions. Taking it's turns, the mix passes different layers & levels and leaves a warm and mystic impression while presenting you melodies from the shores of japan to the pine trees of sicily and beyond. A touch of psychedelic folk and a passion for stomping blues and swing origins do not go unoticed in these playful and interesting 66 minutes. For this mix, I've dug up mostly records of my youth as well as a few more recent favorites. Memories of Krautrock echo softly in the distance and a wistful, dreamy digitalism floats above it all. You come home late at night, images flicker on a screen, insignificant yet comforting, and you are somewhere between not yet awake anymore and not finding any sleep.

Devourer of sounds, restless DJ and a unique voice on the Spanish scene, Gela’s musical journey began in Murcia in 2003, and since then has been continually imbued with the musical influences of the different corners of the world to which she’s travelled. It’s no wonder disco, cosmic funk, Brazilian music, acid house, dark 80s new wave, low bpm techno, electro, ambient and 90s breaks all co-inhabit in her sets. In 2013 she settled in Madrid, where she reunited with Madame Excuse, friend and likeminded DJ with whom she formed Iguana, the project in which they DJ and produce together. Gradually, Gela has carved out a well-deserved place in the Madrid club scene, including a very celebrated residency at Club Berlín, and in recent months she’s greatly expanded her range, playing out in places such as Razzmatazz and Freedonia in Barcelona, Corsica Studios in London, Wilden Renate and About Blank in Berlin, Dabadaba in Donosti, and the Red Light Radio station in Amsterdam. Gela reached several milestones in 2022, such as playing at Sónar or handing it over to Laurent Garnier in Madrid. This year, she has been selected for Keychange, a european programme for bringing underrepresented talent to the front in the music industry.

In this balance, the universe reveals its own pulse, and thought becomes a mirror through which purpose silently unfolds.
