Arlo first played "alice's restaurant"  in february 1967 on bob's show- NOT 1966.  he played it at newport in July 1967.  reprise records released the commercial recording in october 1967.    pease correct.   (ps don't think david bromberg, jerry jeff walker,and jack elliott were  all in that tiny studio!)
