The irony of someone tasting their own medicine, ’Nerve’ has a melody that will come to mind when someone drives you mad. 'Nerve’ is a frustration song dedicated to those that are tired of people that act above others, rather than equal. We're confronted with this in so many situations, whether that be at work, socially, or via the media; there can be a total lack of care and responsibility from people who believe they are more 'worthy' and 'desirable'. In a nutshell, 'Nerve' is standing up to those indiviuals and saying "get off your high horse!".

The future of DIY is here - 'Hello, My Name Is' is an introduction to Currls, a 5 song package that shows off the band's ability to produce raw garage rock, hard hitting, fast-paced punk, thick infectious bass-lines, all with charming highlights of fuzzy layered guitars echoing radiance and lustre. Currls did not come to play, they came to fight the cause. An introduction that will leave you wanting more with a healthy dose of empowerment and the ability to take on the world.

All recorded in their hometown of Brighton, Holly and Hannah have fought hard to get this release out into the world. “It really felt like the odds were against us, but at the same time, completely behind us too”, describes Holly, “this release really does have our blood, sweat and tears on every track. This is our debut EP, one that we’ll always remember, it’s been tough to tie up all of the pieces but the result now is even more special. We really hope that this one can resonate in those who have felt the weight of the world over the past couple years, we hope our song’s can louden your voice, your heart and make you realise your magic is never lost”.

Family Man

Throwback is a song about living with Anxiety Disorder and its ability to seep into your everyday when you least expect it, even after periods of feeling 'better‘. Despite this, it’s an anthem about overcoming your fears and staring at them right in face. It's a song about never giving up and knowing it's okay to not be perfect all the time - It's a tongue-in-cheek reminder that everything is temporary, you are the constant and trust it will pass, mainly because you are YOU!
