Black Door

First movement of a six part "symphonic" project I was working on. The project had to be shelved in early 2013. Meant to be a constantly evolving,long form live piece I used a stopwatch to record each individual sounds length. I then used Audiomulch to sequence these sound blocks. In a live setting these blocks would play according to my previous measurements and composition upon first performance. As the piece continued the timing on the sample players would decay and lose the first composition format. They would begin to display erratic and chaotic ignition timings which ultimately mad a system that is constantly informing itself and changing according to input data.

The first field recording I have produced. Samples taken from heavy equipment, water reactor, industrial turbines, welder, guitar and some wildlife.

Crooked Teeth

An experiment with 1/4" tape. I cut and combined 20 different tape splices from various reels found in storage.

Gyotor Haus Dunkleheit

14 1/4" tape reels, cut and reassembled over a period of 6 months. Manipulated via suitcase set-up and tape machine. Contained on these reels are voices, glass and other percussive sounds.

Glass + Tape Loop

Live composition using electronics and a choir group used to celebrate the full moon. The choir group consists of myself and 9 other members from a local coven. 

Summoning Spell

 The grey ash stirred. Catching an edie of air, it swirled and danced across the dry and porous contents of her surface. She had been there for centuries. Her secrets unknown. Even to Her. And even as the Great Orb rained its fire down upon her and the Tempest ravished her body with pelting rain and winds, she stood. 
A testament to ruin.
