Curse These Metal Hands was the second alias of nineteen-year old electro musician Ben, an art student studying at University College Falmouth in 2006/7. 

He released seven tracks on MySpace under the name ShitArt but later folded them into a twelve-track concept album '86400s' (the number of seconds in a day).

In the same year Ben co-wrote music and played guitar in the short-lived punk band The Shallows.

Later in 2015, as BLSBLSBLS, he wrote and recorded folk guitar music, and more recently he has recorded more electro music under the name Lime and Blankets.
