From "Voices In The Wilderness": This book is about the experiences of Ron Morehead, a man who witnessed, recorded, and had vocal interactions between himself and a family of giants, commonly referred to as Bigfoot or Sasquatch. His story begins in 1971 when he, along with a group of five other hunters, encountered these creatures in a remote and imposing part of the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California. It spans his 40-year history trekking in-and-out of this secluded area to seek out and understand the enigmas associated with these beings. What makes his story so different and compelling is not only the supporting documentation but the recurrent effort on the part of these ‘beings’ to communicate with this group of hunters.

The Bigfoot Recordings Volume 2

In 1971, two men interact vocally with "something in the woods."

This recording is not of a single call, but rather, it is a series of calls recorded together on a single sound file. (You hear four different people responding to the mystery caller, at different times).

Backstory: According to the person who recorded these calls, Gary Sudbrink, he was originally from New York, was in the military at the time, but was stationed in Texas. Without telling anyone, Gary decided to fly from Texas to his home in New York, as a way to surprise his parents and friends. 

While Gary was at the airport in Texas, he was approached by a guy with a clipboard who proceeded to ask him his name, how to spell it, where he was going, and other personal information. Gary just assumed that the stranger was trying to sell him something, so he mostly ignored him, and then went to go board his plane. 

Shortly after Gary had boarded, a different person - also with a clipboard - sat down right next to Gary and proceeded to also question him about the same kind of personal information. Gary asked this new clipboard guy to leave him alone. Eventually a stewardess approached this other clipboard guy, asked to see his ticket and told him, "This isn't your seat, you need to move.” Clipboard guy moved away, but shortly afterward, he seated himself behind Gary, where he again continued the same line of questioning. Once again, he was told to move by the stewardess.

Gary was rattled by these two contacts, so much so that he later called his landlord and asked her to keep an eye on his apartment while he was away.

When Gary arrived in New York, he went to his parents house. He then called a friend whom he was hoping to surprise with the news that he was in town. However, the friend then said to him, "What are you talking about? You told me you were coming to New York yesterday.” After discussing this with his friend, it soon become obvious to Gary that someone had called his friend, pretending to be him, and had told him about his trip from Texas to New York. His friend swore that he wasn't joking around, so Gary assumed that it was all just some weird coincidence.

After this, while Gary was staying at his parents house, he started getting calls on their home phone from an unlisted number, calls where a robotic-sounding voice would ask to speak to him by name. The voice asked the same strange questions each time, such as, "Is Gary Sudbrink there?," "How long are you back from Texas?" "You are being impersonated by the other voice,” and other weird statements such as “They are planning to make contact,” “Beware,” ““Government interference,” Visitations to be disrupted by them,” and “The sun will rise from the dark side of the Moon.” 

As the calls persisted, Gary began recording the calls, and even his father, mother and uncle talked to the caller, but they could never get any information. Each time, the voice just repeated the same lines, sometimes with long pauses between when the voice said something and the caller responded.

On its face, this would appear to be just some sort of prank recording or computer bot designed to repeat messages in response to a human voice. However, this supposedly happened some time in the late 80s or early 90s, long before this kind of technology was as prevalent as it is today. 

But, if the stories about the two "clipboard guys" at the airport and the friend who claimed to have received a prior call are legitimate, then that adds another whole different perspective to this.

Strange message that played automatically when the telephone receiver was lifted at the home of an elderly woman in Greeley, Colorado. The message would only broadcast from 0700 to 0715 pm.

The person who recorded this message described the event as follows:

"A couple of years ago my mother called me from a neighbor's house in a hysterical state because someone had 'taken over' her home phone. She's very independent but elderly, has failing vision and lives alone in Greeley, Colorado. Her neighbor checked out the phone, and it seemed OK, so my mom eventually calmed down and went home.

Then, a few days later, it happened again. My mom was inconsolable and refused to go back into her house - her neighbor told me she couldn't stop shaking. I urgently took time off work and traveled to Colorado the next day to help her. I tested her phone and couldn't find anything wrong, but I said I'd stay with her for the next week to make sure she was OK. (I thought she was going a little mad and was desperately trying to work out how I could move to Colorado permanently to live closer to her!)
I was horrified when I discovered what was really going on.
When she had lifted the receiver, rather than the dial tone, she'd heard a creepy message. I'm not surprised it terrified her - it freaked me out too!

Over the next few days I figured out that the message only came between 7 PM to 7:15 PM. Any other time of day, there was a normal dial tone and the phone worked normally. The phone didn't ring at 7 PM or anything - it was just that if you lifted the receiver to make a call between 7 to 7:15 PM you'd get the sinister message rather than the dial tone.

My mom's phone has a connector for a headset so I managed to record the message on my laptop.

The day after I recorded the message the phone was dead for most of the day. I called the phone company but they said they couldn't find a fault and wouldn't do anything. In the evening I tried to take another recording so see whether the message had changed, but it was gone and there was just a normal dial tone.

The message has never come back, but my mom is still frightened about using her phone.

Ever since I've tried to discreetly figure out what it was all about, and what it's got to do with my mom, but I got nowhere. So I've decided to post my recording on the Internet to see if anyone can help.

I'm not sure what the male voice says at the start of the message, but I think he says 'NORAD' - the nuclear defense agency - so I'm posting this anonymously. I don't want any trouble if I'm posting something secret I'm not supposed to have heard. I've cut short the tone at the end - it was ear-splitting and would go on until you replaced the receiver.

This recording was taken on June 29th 2012."

Strange, intercepted telephone message, possible NORAD communication

Tense moments during UFO encounter recorded between airline pilots, air controllers (1995)

At around midnight on May 26, 1995, American West Flight 564 was cruising westbound over the Texas-New Mexico state line near Bovina, Texas, at 39,000 feet when the flight crew spotted a huge UFO flying at approximately 30,000 feet toward the vicinity of Roswell, New Mexico. 

Real drama unfolds in this ten minute FAA audio recording as the three witnesses in the Boeing 757 cockpit, clearly disturbed by what they have just seen, urgently report a large, "eerie looking" object flying near their airspace.  First Officer John J. Waller and a flight attendant spotted the 300-400 foot long UFO at some distance between their aircraft and a nearby thunderstorm.

The flight crew reports that the "unbelievable" looking object suddenly appeared to them as it was backlit by a flash of lightning in the distance.   The pilots notice a strobing light, apparently spinning around the edges of the object, illuminating the thunderhead clouds behind it.  The young sounding pilot at the microphone is clearly alarmed.

In this audio recording you will hear the crew report the sighting in real time to air traffic controllers in Albuquerque.  Nervous laughter is heard among ground controllers as plausible explanations are stripped away, with one controller saying, "this is not good".

Other passing airliners are instructed to look for the object.  Pilots in the air are noticeably concerned that a huge, unknown object could be flying near them.  Meanwhile, the crew who spotted the UFO huddle in their cockpit, obviously in shock over what they have witnessed.  

As they begin to transmit details of their close encounter to air traffic controllers, the airwaves are suddenly jammed by other pilots speaking all at once on the same radio frequency.  The resulting high-pitched tone cancels out what may have been remarkable, first hand details from trained observers with excellent eyesight.

During the event, an air traffic controller contacts North American Air Defense Command (NORAD), who after taking the call, reported that an object was tracked by radar darting from a stationary position to speeds of up to 1400 mph.

America West 564 radio transmissions during a UFO sighting over New Mexico in 1995

These incidents occurred in 1996 when a man called 911 twice, first to report that something had killed one of his dogs, then following up two weeks later with a report of a "very big" prowler in his backyard. This took place on the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington State, a known hotbed for Bigfoot sightings. This series of phone calls have been edited by Sasquatch investigators Ron Morehead and Peter Byrne, who interviewed the caller/witness. The Michigan UFO Flap of 1994 occurred in southeastern Ottawa County, near Holland, Michigan, and involved as many as 300 witnesses. Area 911 operators were swamped, as well as the National Weather Service.

Col. Charles Halt audio recording of the 1980 Rendlesham Forest UFO incident. 

Backstory: On the night of Saturday, 1980 December 27 Lt Col Halt was at an officers’ dinner at RAF Woodbridge when Lt Bruce Englund came in and said: “The UFO is back”. A group of men had reportedly seen unexplained lights in the forest, although we have no first-hand accounts from these witnesses, unlike with the witnesses on the first night. Halt returned to his quarters at RAF Bentwaters to change and joined the group out in the forest some time after midnight on December 28. The investigation initially focused on the supposed landing marks that had been found on the morning of December 26.
