When the three orphaned Rawlins children are reluctantly evacuated from wartime London to live with the mysterious Eglantine Price, they have no idea what adventures lie ahead. Upon discovering Eglantine to be a trainee witch, they join forces to search for a secret spell that will defeat the enemy once and for all. Armed with an enchanted bedknob, a bewitched broomstick and a magical flying bed, they encounter surprising new friendships on their journey from Portobello Road to the depths of the beautiful briny sea.

This brand-new heart-warming musical follows three generations of women and their coming together after a long time apart.

When her mother is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Beverly and her husband Rick open their home to care for her. While adjusting to their new circumstances, Beverly’s daughter Emma – a non-speaking autistic teenager with synaesthesia – unexpectedly crashes back into her life. Her arrival forces Beverly and Rick to confront the past and learn whether they can become the family Emma so desperately needs.

This smash hit Royal Shakespeare Company production prepares to open right here in Leicester next month, and Rebecca sheds light on why the show has been such a fan favourite. 

We’ll soon be welcoming an iconic showbiz pair to our Studio stage, as NOEL & GERTIE prepares to introduce audiences to a world of laughter, music and showbiz charm. Gary Tushaw will take on the role of Noël Coward, and he shares why his character’s friendship with Gertrude Lawrence became so admired. 

Our fantastic runners are preparing to take part in the Run Leicester Half Marathon and 10km as part of the Curve Run Challenge. By taking part, our representatives will raise money to help support Curve's mission to ensure all young people, regardless of their background or financial circumstances, can access, enjoy and shape the future of theatre. Martin speaks to Laura Kearsley of Nelsons all about why she has volunteered to run for Team Curve.

Welcome to the introductory audio notes for The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical.

These notes provide an introduction to the show and details about the story, set, characters, costumes, cast and credits, ahead of our Audio Described performance on Saturday 21 March, 2.15pm. There will be a Touch Tour before the performance from 12.45pm; please meet in Alcove 3 from 12.45pm.

The performance will be audio described by Willie Elliott and Kerry Elkins for VocalEyes.

When 16 year old Percy Jackson discovers that he is the half-blood son of the Greek God, Poseidon, his life takes a dramatic turn as he is plunged into a world much bigger than he could possibly have imagined.
