It feels like ten decades ago since Roswitha & I finally got behind the decks together again (oh those pre-historic times...!). So we couldnt think of a better way to kick this year off then creating a Mbuki Mvuki Mix together! ❤

Roswitha is that one lady that inspired me a few years ago to crawl behind the DJ booth myself. Our epic journey took off when we spent a whole night until dawn behind the decks on Nowhere festival in Spain and decided that 'together everything is just more fun' - especially with bubbles. And so our adventure began and it has led us to so many beautiful places and gatherings -with bubbles- like Garbicz festival.

Mbuki Mvuki Mix #09 with Roswitha & Paboona

This is the dj set I made in Copenhagen on August 27th 2022 to close the Tribunen  Stage of Karrusel Fest after Kerala Dust. A very special selection for a truly a magical night that I won't forget ✨ 

The tracks naturally took their place in the mix as the set was going forward. Despite the distance between the stage and the dancefloor, the atmosphere was electric and I could feel so much energy in the air🖤 

Since I was the last artist to perform on that stage on the last day of the festival, I made a clearly crossover set, from 103 to 123bpm, mixing some of my favourite tracks from the last 15 years, at least

Ektoplast est un artiste sonore, cher à notre maison L’Astrolab <3, dont le travail oscille entre plusieurs modes d’expression de la musique. Il crée d’une part des installations sonores, il pratique la composition acousmatique et la musique expérimentale. En bonne créature des bas fonds il est d’autre part producteur de musique downtempo / slow-house et Dj. 
Dans ce nouvel épisode des ATOMSPHÈRES il nous invite à plonger dans une techno lentement profonde aux teintes groovy. Avec ces sons slow techno calés à 100 bpm, il éclaire des morceaux en leur insufflant une nouvelle puissance, et propage son amour toujours plus grandissant pour la lenteur.

Cushings was a Swedish Dj -duo creating dance music, driven by bass lines and trippy tech soundscapes with rhythms from all over the world.  It´s all about drifting, into dreams, and letting the music find its way through the moment we share. 
Cushings are both longtime music collectors and you will hear the influences from hiphop, dub, etno, techno, tech/deep house, funk, disco - in other words -  beats that makes the trippy hippy happyish.
The bigger the mess the greater the release.
