Beside the Gray are a local duo from the cheddar area, formed just a year ago.
Band members Holly Gray and Rob Thomas have both been in the music industry for some time. Holly started singing at weddings and popular events from the age of 15 and went on to play in a band called Goldryder, supporting acts such as supergrass, Paul Weller, Noisettes and Graham Coxon.
Rob Thomas appeared in the line up of the band Jokers Wild. Supporting acts such as Dogs Dmour, Thunder Choirboys, Tigertailz and Hannoi rocks. His second band kin supporting Reef, Catatonia and Top Loader.
The duo met while 'jamming' at a local open mic night called the cheddar experiment.
Holly with her undeniable vocal talent and rob with his fantastic guitar skills make this duo a great match!
The pair write lots of their own material but also do those 'popular' covers too!!
Beside the Gray have been recording various tracks and look forward to two releases later on this year.
