Cut and Paste is the new record label from Jaime Fiorito and Javier Lopez (aka Thompson) a collaboration connecting Ibiza and Barcelona. The project was born with the idea of re-editing organic and timeless music, building bridges in between classic house and disco records and designed for modern dancefloors.

Jaime Fiorito has got dance music in his DNA, he was born and bred in the nightclubs of ibiza, listening to his father and mentor, DJ Alfredo in the 80's. In 2013 he tuned his ear working at Phonica Records in Soho/London and began his career as a DJ, taking in some of the most important clubs in Europe such as Watergate and Panorama bar in Berlin. Currently playing as a resident for We Love Space in Ibiza but also alongside his father DJ Alfredo under the name The Heritage Project.

Javier Lopez aka Thompson, is a DJ, producer and music journalist for Clubbingspain.com, author of various musical projects such as Me & the Coconut, Javier, Seam & Sun and also a graduate of the RMBA in London in 2010. Javi is an eclectic music aficionado inspired by Jazz, Funk, Disco and Afro-Latin Grooves.

Cut and Pate is an extension of their musical taste as selectors, a continuous aural conversation covering genres from the past and promoting quality dance music with an artisanal touch. Every artwork is a hand made exclusive collage.

Their first output will be signed by the label honchos under the pseudonym Michael & Jackson. Cut and Paste will start their musical journey this spring and will also offer a series of exclusives edits
