Greetings friends, and welcome back to an all new season of Mercury Landing.

That's right, we are back! With all new guests and all new mixes for your listening enjoyment. I’m so excited to present our next guest. But first! I just want to take a quick moment to thank everyone that continued to support the show during this time away.

We know it’s been a little while but we’re back and back full circle! I’m not sure if you remember but the last episode to air was the Galentine’s day special, so it’s only right that we start today’s show with one of our favorite gals - @djemelle.

Emelle is a super talented selector based out of the Bay Area, CA. Inspired by her Egyptian roots, she takes us on a journey through a variety of sounds making for some truly special mixing that’ll transport you all over the world.

Emelle is also the creative mind behind one of the Bay Area's top dance parties called “Butter”. A party that invites people to come as they are. To dance, sing and celebrate themselves to the tune of the best future beats, house, Afrobeats, r&b and more. You can catch her and special guests at Butter this February 23rd in San Francisco at the Felix. It is my pleasure to set the stage for our next guest with a brief 15 minute mix, followed by a special message from Emelle before she takes us on a fantastic voyage.

TURNA, hailing from Manchester, UK, is a versatile DJ and producer. Drawing
inspiration from an eclectic blend of genres, including jazz, hip hop, funk, house and UK garage, he crafts unique edits and remixes that have been featured on renowned platforms like BBC 6Music, BBC 1Xtra, Soulection Radio, Rinse FM, NTS Radio, and KISS FM.

TURNA's musical journey has led him from producing remixes for his own sets to producing original music. His signature sound has been described as warm and forward-thinking, featuring smooth chords, intricate synths, deep bass lines, and groove-infused drums.
