Greetings Family!

Every year, I challenge myself to accomplish at least one thing that truly scares me—My Big Bodacious Goal (BBG). For the past two years, my BBG was to test for my First and Second Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. Having passed both (go me!), I set a new goal for myself, since I most likely won’t be invited to test for my Third Dan for at least another two years.

Why do I keep setting these bold challenges? Because of the person I become in the process.

In this episode of Live by Design, I share the importance and impact of having a BBG and reveal what mine is for 2025.

Jim Rohn once said, “The purpose of life is to keep death at a respectable distance.” We do that by consistently pushing ourselves beyond our comfort zones and embracing challenges that force us to grow. Setting and pursuing big goals transforms us—it builds confidence, tests our limits, and gives us the opportunity to level up in every aspect of life. Whether or not we achieve the goal itself, the journey makes us stronger, wiser, and more resilient.

And you deserve every breakthrough and insight that comes from the process.

Last month I experienced a real crisis of Faith. Longstanding relationships that were important to me were in breakdown. I was feeling stressed dealing with ailing family members, and I was having some challenges in my business. It was TOO MUCH! I decided to call one of my good friends who shared one of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever gotten: “Don’t throw away everything you’ve don.” In this video I offer a deep dive into that advice. Is It Time To Move On

Most of us are quick to list the things that we will and won't put up with in our relationships, at the office, etc. While it's relatively easy to verbalize our standards, holding ourselves to those standards is much more difficult - especially in our intimate relationships.
