Straight to Favs Mr Swift!!!!! quality.......i was probably listening to this at the time!! thank you !!!

When I first started out trying to scratch I saw DJ Pogo at some music expo and it was a massive eye opener for me, I went home from that, and found I was starting to 'get it' . This was on my first set up,  2 belt drive decks, and a made2fade mixer... When I could afford technics a couple of years later the lightness I had to learn from them did me no end of favours...

Droping science.  I also did this routing at the DMC World Eliminations in 89 which place me a favorite! Copycat swing again and melody with the snares at 45rpm! 

This is a live radio mix dubbed from my personal audio cassette collection! DJ Pogo and myself were invited to Greater London Radio just after I won the DMC World Championships 21 years ago! As you can hear this performance was far more technical and ground breaking at that time than my DMC World winning set, in fact I choose not to use these records in that world final set as I'm a firm believer that to be the best you couldn't be predictable and certainly not repetitive. I did however use only one record from this performance which was my droping science rountine some may say I was beat juggling to be honest we were all doing beats I just pioneered a new approach to it which I called the copycat, again many know it as the chase! Customised records and enhanced mixers with super slick faders were things at that time we could only dream of, maybe that is why our time is referred too as the Golden age, just ideas and raw skills, enjoy!
