Kabelsalat – a German term for "cable clutter" - Hailing from Germany, Jonny Blimke delivers four tracks that effortlessly shift between both laid-back listening and dancefloor-hip-swinging — the choice is yours. Each track is crafted with a carefully curated selection of synths, groove boxes, and samplers, reflecting a thoughtful approach to music-making. Track 3 Mersive stands out, created entirely on a Novation Peak synthesizer. It revolves around a single jazzy chord, rich with modulation, evoking a state of mind that’s hard for me to put into words—but it definitely moves you. The other tracks are a sonic tapestry woven from various pieces of gear, including the Octatrack, Model Cycles, Erica Synth DB01, Fred's Lab Töröö, and the Dreadbox Typhon.
