I know it's been a very long time, but I'm finally ready to start sharing my music again. I've been a bit protective, hesitant, and even fearful of doing so in the past, but at least today I feel different. 

I've been working on this project for over a month, drawing a lot from  emotional and mental spaces. I hope it will make you feel something too.

Something Bout U

A new year, a new direction. I'm still using samples (that will never change!) but also recorded electric guitar for this one. Unfortunately, the guitar is now borked - I'm planning to record more once it's fixed.

I think a lot of us find it really difficult to achieve real “mindfulness” in a world that's pretty dark and overwhelming. But when I’m dancing in a crowd with my eyes closed, or losing myself in the flow of making a song, time seems to dissolve - and music becomes my meditation. That’s how I felt while creating this, so if you enjoy listening to it even half as much as I enjoyed bringing it to life, I’ll have done my piece.

See Through

This song is about change. It's about not being able to to predict change, or stop the pain that can follow. We control the decisions we make but not much else - and the waterfall is always there. We can try our best to be present but when you're floating down the river, you never really see it coming.

A waterfall represents the negative and positive aspects of change - the chaos and the growth. Waterfalls are dangerous and unpredictable, but also beautiful and purifying. All we can do is let them wash over us, and take another step forward.
