Breakcore and related mixes I've recorded over the years.

CV:
Immersed myself in the harder end of rave music back in the early to mid 90s before starting to hardcore djs and live sets with my crew PBS back in 1998.  Throughout the 2000s was involved with djing and promoting underground hardcore, breakcore and left field electronics shows with various artists from the US and abroad, as well as running a vinyl-based record distro / shop Wrecked.    Performed with and booked artists such as Venetian Snares, Abelcain, Bombardier, Xanopticon, Doormouse, Duran Duran Duran, Baseck, Noisecreator, Eustacian, Speak Onion, Redhat, Death Cascade and more.

Cutups - Illusions VIII

Based in Pittsburgh, Geoff @Cutups Maddock has been carving up sounds since the mid 90s. His name and styles comes out of an appreciation of the cut-ups technique of creation employed by the Dadaists, Brion Gysin and William S. Burroughs.

It's as he says "how it meshes into the wild, collage nature of sample-everything culture, both in music, the net and life in the late 20th century."

Maddock's mix for our In Session series is a darkside ride through outsider electronics and experimental sound. Electro meets glitch bass and precision drum percussion.
