Playing several instruments is exactly what I would like to be able to do whenever I feel like it. 
Here is an example of what I have put together music-wise while stubbornly fumbling my way through with grand arm gestures, making an impersonation of a jam band playing funk, while I used about 20-30 recordings to get each instrument to sit as I want.   
It's difficult to find the right balance between the instruments when coloring the sound for a finished mix. 

I spent a long time mixing it all, even though it's just a solo jam, a demo. But still. I took my time, and considering that it's me, who is not a musician but a sound technician, chef, baker, and butcher, with a decent sense of drumming but on a hobby level, who has played and set everything up here, mixed it all, and laid it out for listening, I must say that I am quite satisfied with the result.
