It’s time to tune in to your favourite radio station! VSA Radio is back with another episode, this time presenting a slamming techno set from one of the masterminds behind the infamous swedish Substantiv collective. Let’s hear it for Sten Dhödh (he/him):

"What can I say about this mix? I was still trying to figure out the IDs of the tracks myself as this mix was done, but I gave up pretty fast. There’s no point in finding my way back as this was made in a pretty spontaneous way. As for the selections, there’s a lot of new stuff, some really ancient tunes, and some punky mashups, all glued together into a vulgar display of grooves. This mix is basically all about flow and grooves and to make your inner Rubber Johnny step out of his comfort zone."

Can you hear it howling? 
An experienced alfa wolf having its quality time on the top of the hill in a deep dark forest. Can you feel his fur getting electrified? Can you hear the quick heartbeat of his prey? 
“Awooo…” – CVesth approaches. 
Copenhagen based DJ and producer can definitely be considered as a veteran of pounding and acid techno music. Back in the 20th century, when raves have been known as “wild bohemian parties”, CVesth was fascinated of a whole new era of electronic sounds in different places amongst Copenhagen and Germany. Being a Disc Jockey since 1993 have brought many exclusive experiences such as playing at surreal bunker venues. His biggest influence and creative drive have always been an active one by participating in as many social events as it is possible: “I have tons of ideas in my head after a night out”. However, you will never get away from the point where you started, right? “Raves in the 90’s inspires me still” – points the artist. Being a husband and a father sets a great challenge to communicate between these two polar opposite personalities. Probably, that is why CVesth is more into producing today as he runs his own label: Repetitive Underground. A wolf of knowledge is here not to scary but to lead.
