-How long have you been creating music?

Forever!  I started piano when I was 6 and I never liked playing other people's music.   From the beginning I always wanted to do my own thing.  I kinda got into sample based production about 5 years ago and fell in love with it, sequencing and synthesizers.  .  

 

-What do you use to make your tracks?

Ableton, Samples, a bunch of vst synths and a Korg Monologue.  The vocals in Lots of Honey were done by me as well.  I like to do my own vocals.   

 

-How and when did you first discover Dirtybird?

I can't remember when, but I remember hearing Mike McFly's Cone Blower and I was blown away.  After hearing Cone Blower, I started digging into Dirtybird's catalogue.  So I guess it would have been around 2018..   

 

-Which Dirtybird artist would you want to collaborate with the most?

Lots of them! I like that Dirtybird brings fresh to the table constantly.   Honestly,  I would say there are a dozen artists that have released on Dirtybird that I would love to work with.

 

-If your entire life was a movie, what title would best describe you?

Hummmm....  probably a Will Ferrell movie.   Let's say Eurovision Song Contest.   

 

-What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?

Eli Brown.  He was testing out Believe and was mixing it with some 80s new wave track (I think Eurythmics).  I just never wanted it to end. 

 

-If you could time travel, where and when would you go?

Some time in the future.   Not sure how far...... but I hope to see flying cars, and to be travel at warp speeed.  Oh and be able to have a laser gun (pew pew)!  



-What species of bird best describes you and why?

 Canadian Goose:  Big, lumbering, shits a lot and is generally always in the way.

 

-What does Dirtybird mean to you?

Pushing the envelope in an accessible and fun way.
