Almost four years after his first appearance on our platform, the visionary London-based DJ, producer, and label owner continues to impress with his crystalline productions and varied yet energetic DJ sets, not changed over the course of time if not for a faster, more driving bpm approach. DiY Digs & Woosh Bounce 1994

This is an old mix from my days at the wonderful little echo system of independent music, free thinking and full on partying that was Swag Records. It was recorded at some point in 1999 at Rob Pearson's old  studio in West Croydon. It's kind of fast because we were all on drugs at least 70% of the time back then. We gave CDs of it away to our regular customers as part of our Swag Records mix series. I feel like it captures a little bit of the vibe from those times.

Way Back (DJZigZag Wayne Bennett EdiT) - Dennis Cruz

Surely one of the best DJs in the game of House Music, Gene has not only presented killer mix after killer mix showcasting the immense depth of his collection, he also is a very good producer himself - constantly raising the bar on his very own "Limousine Dream" imprint. 

For 5918mins., Gene slows things down a couple of BPM and leads us through the downtempo side of things, with the same combination of thorough- and playfulness that has become a hallmark of his mixes. We're very happy to have him onboard and will patiently wait in line for track IDs. Enjoy!
