Here is a short demo of the new version of Sample Modeling's French horn & Tuba . Played in using aYamaha BC3  breath controller trough a kurzweil PC3.  Cine symphony lite Strings are the supporting instrument. I also placed the instruments using Virtual Soundstage scoring stage b(looks like it's modelled on Air Lyndhurst) the Reverb is Aether

I have used and like Cinematic strings for a long time. The latest offering Cinematic Studio Strings is their new library and the beginning of a new project to release a whole orchestra of samples. 

I revisited a Folk Song arrangement i mocked up that John Rutter had written years ago. I think it sounds pretty good. less syrupy than the original cinematic strings. A few bugs to iron out but very good value for your money. You have to pay a lot more for better results.

I bought Adagietto in the sale from *dio and thought i should give it a run on the same piece i used for my other library comparison. I think it is a good sounding library and very real sounding for the money. The Violas are a bit weak as is often the case libraries.

The Advantage of downloading a big sample library is.... well at least it gives ou time to sketch the idea you want to realise with it. I'm half way through downloading the Bernard Hermann Tool Kit from Spitfire, Here is my piano sketch i intend to colour in using it. If you know his scores you'll know the references Psycho,Vertigo Cape fear and Fahrenheit 451

In all the haste of work and family life i forgot to post the orchestrated version. This is related to the piano sketch. Spitfire have produced a great library. I probably could have got this result with only the BHCT but chose to add Spitfire Symphonic Violins to the legato tune mid way and Spitfire Legato cello to the counter melody in the bass near the end. Hope you enjoy it

I found it quite easy to use I could realise what i had in my minds ear pretty well. rhythm is manouche guitar from Swing! with Bass and Drums from Straight ahead samples
