Aztronouth has been a DJ for 20 years now and has run Mechanism, hosting electronic dance events in Amsterdam, for the last 15 years as well.

3 years ago he found a broken Juno106 in his Dad's attic which led to him exploring his own sound more in depth and was the beginning of creating his own home studio, adding new gear along the way. He now produces electro under the name Aztronouth and downtempo obscurities under his alter-ego Oortfunk. He is also part of Waveform Syndicate [Live] with friends Luus and Machinefunk.

With roots in hiphop, disco, detroit techno and an overall love for funk he has managed to create his own style and sound.

With a couple of releases under his belt on the label Boomstraat1818 and his forthcoming EP on CyberDomain he's well on his way carving out a place in the scene. Keep an eye on him and enjoy this fierce and versatile mix!

TL PREMIERE : Aztronouth ft. CybeReign - Ghost of the samurai [Connectome Records]

Traptor is an experimental ELECTRO project that combines dark and rough sounds mixed with hip hop vocals and robotic mechanisms. 

This live mix was created using analog and digital synthesizers as well as samples recorded from various industrial and machine sound sources, which were intensively processed with digital effects to achieve the desired sound. 

Some of the tracks from this mix will be processed and mixed as full tracks for the Connectome Records label.
