Strings of the Sun

A hypnotic fusion of French house grooves and soulful vocals, this track tells the story of a man who creates his dream girl inside his computer using AI. Night after night, he dreams of meeting her in real life — searching for the same blue pixels in the eyes of someone real. The blend of funky basslines, lush synth layers, and infectious house rhythms creates a deep, danceable vibe perfect for late-night clubs or rooftop sunsets.

This might quite possibly be my favorite track on the EP. 

I woke up in the middle of the night, thinking to myself that "Discovery" would be a suitable name for my EP. However, when I started working on ideas for the title track, nothing seemed to quite work out. So I decided to challenge myself and sample something in my kitchen and turn it into a pluck. I ended up filling a cognac glass with water, until it sounded somewhat close to a B note, and then hit it with a mallet. This is what I ended up using as a starting point for "Discovery".

The main theme was recorded by Dario Lessing on the organ at the Zionskirche in Berlin. Both the sound and the location of the recording really inspired me, and so I set out to build a track around it that sounded modern, yet respecting of the beauty of the historical instrument. We chose to name the track "All You Need Is Time" because we both really liked the concept of time healing wounds, and everything being able to recover to it's normal state, if one is patient enough to work through it.
