Today I was thinking of the time I was booking bands at the Iron Horse in Northampton.  In 1994, I booked a band from Scotland called the Old Blind Dogs.  My band Woodkerne opened for them.  Their music still rings in my mind.  Here's a song that reminds me of them.

Red Fire Farm Renewal

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) has launched its fourth annual ‘Name A Snowplow’ contest for elementary and middle school students across the state.
The contest invites students to propose names for 12 snowplows that will be used during the 2025/2026 winter season. The initiative aims to celebrate the winter season, highlight the dedication of public works employees, and raise awareness of their critical role in maintaining road safety during winter weather.
