The second track I made around the same time as the previous one. If you thought that last one was weird... well...

This one is basically a silly little track of me trying to use the samples I've recorded over the years, as an experimentation.  The main one I used was the vocal sample I found from Andrew Huang's video of "Making music without hearing it", at around 8:22:

I'll get into why I chose that sample in a second. But first, some context - the video I got the sample from was about four different musicians challenging themselves to write something without being able to hear anything at all. After that, they gathered together to hear each other's work. Andrew Huang's track was the one I referenced for this track, and he was the last one to show.
So, I was inspired to make this track because of Andrew's out-of-nowhere synth solo in his track, when it was his turn to show what he has made. 
Therefore, the context of this sample was when everyone was making fun of that weird synth solo, Boyinaband said that very phrase I just mentioned, which for some reason, sounded like it should be some kind of meme, as the face he made (as seen from the thumbnail of this track) in the video looked ridiculous and funny. And so, I wanted to make this track stupid and ridiculous. Also, the crazy synth solo in the middle was also making fun of Andrew's abrupt synth solo from the video as well.

And so now you're thinking - what about the soda part? Well, as I was working on the track, I thought to myself - what would the Boyinaband sample sound like if it was reversed? And that was it - it's the same sample, but reversed, which unexpectedly, sounded like Boyinaband is craving for soda. It was random, as synths and sodas aren't related at all with each other, but it was perfect for the stupid nature of this track. 

After adding the second half, it eventually transformed this track into something that seemed abstract and nonsensical at first, but it has a deeper meaning underneath it, believe it or not. To me, it could be a metaphor of addiction getting out of control, but honestly, it's up to interpretation. Feel free to come up with your own. Could be serious or funny, up to you :P

The Madness Of Synths And Sodas

An instrumental metal track from an upcoming release. This track originally has lyrics, but I never managed to make it work without sounding cringy. And so, I kept it instrumental.

This track is called "Fueled With Fury" because it sounds like it could belong in a sports car championship, probably as a theme song or something. 

I've also made a music video for this, which will be up very soon. In the meantime, hope you enjoy this track!

Just recently dug up an old track I made a few years ago, and I thought I'd rework it to make it better.

Don't remember why I made this track, but I do remember how it started - it all started with a sample of someone breaking some metal plates or something (hence the working title "Breaking Metal"). 

This was one of the many electronic/experimental tracks I have done during my time at AIM, and I originally had plans to make an album full of tracks like these. That might still happen, but not in the near future.

Futuristic Disco

Haven't posted here in a long time! 

So it's been long overdue, but I've been meaning to upload this song online, as this is a song that was much more well received than I expected, ever since I performed this song with a band live at an award ceremony, as I've won an Merit Award with this song for a Christian songwriting competition, organized by ACMC (Australian Chinese Missions for Christ). 

Fun fact - this is one of the first, if not the first Christian song I've ever written, and it's so amazing how God is able to use someone like me to present songs like these to glorify Him, by giving me a Godly gift that I don't deserve. 

This song is inspired by not only a scripture (as seen below), but also a personal story about someone, that no matter how far they have strayed away from God, He will always bring you back with His river of life, if You're willing to accept Him of course.

This song is a long story. 

So the main bulk of the 1st half is written about 10 years ago, but back then I had no idea how I could turn it into a song.
