This is what I feel like inside my mind
Every day I wake up restless two steps behind
Drink a cup of coffee just to feel alive
Eventually I’m caught covering my eyes
I avoid all the news for my well being 
As pessimist its hard enough
Without seeing 
swarms of stupidity 
Hypocrisy and secrecy 
the anthem of  society 
And they wonder why we
Struggle with

 sobriety 
Suicide, sweet irony
Hiding in trivial fiction
Depictions and pcitures
Of worlds without 
Dictators
 corrupt leaders
And schemers
Sinking their teeth
Into any profit
 they can squeeze
From people barely scraping means
 Enough
 To live with dignity and self esteem
No love
 New apple head phones to
Drown out all their pleas 
Macbook and PC’s 
Have  us addicted to
their smoke screens

Millions of starving children 
Needing medicine and vaccine
From the poison of the rust 
Falling off the machine
Military intervene 
By bombing  innocent civilians
Billions spent inventing weapons
That wipe clean a world blue and green
Of peaceful people caught in-between
Petty wars raging with no end seen
The scene blazes on, if everyone is dead and gone
Can anyone say they really won? 

So whats the purpose 
Does anyone deserve this
Assault on this precious 
Gift of life given us
Ripping up Forrests 
Putting  profit before us
Saying its for us
But all we want is 
Is less fuss
 
And more trust 
In our fellow  man
 No rush a better plan
People reaching out a helping hand
Lifting up until  we all stand
Leaving no one in the sand
Nod if you can understand

I hope its not Too late 
to set the record straight
To fix the skip taking  
Us To a date 
not worth a double take
 too much at stake 
To sit back and wait 
In our hands we hold our fate

 If we don’t act now we could be shut down
