U.S.-based label Cydana Sounds returns to the fold, in a major re-launch for the small creative project of Oregon artist Cendryma; with the release "Connecting Dots / Minicube."

Written by Russian artist Dmitry Medvedev aka Dimas Mixon and American rising star Cendryma, "Connecting Dots / Minicube" is a glorious two tracker, featuring smooth synths, warm melodies and oodles of groove. Opening proceeding is "Connecting Dots," a melodic romp through the stylings of Dimas Mixon, while the rumbling, undulating bassline is the familiar characteristic of Cendryma's productions.

"Minicube" is a more subdued affair, preferring to lay back on the bassline while the high end percussion drives forward the track. The breakdown is a dark, filtered cascade that leads into a subtle, but powerful drop.

Joining forces for the debut release of the re-launched Cydana Sounds, this is Dimas Mixon & Cendryma with "Connecting Dots / Minicube."

Coming up next from Cydana Sounds is another team-up for label owner Cendryma! This time, he joins forces with Mexican DJ and producer MUUK', for a dark and moody triple threat that is sure to catch the ear of many fans of the dark and the underground.

Opener "Outside the Program" is a tougher edged affair, driven by atmospheric vocal stabs, deep basslines and a whole lotta mood! The track builds the excitement through a driving groove that fades away until there's only a deep bassline left, creative a transition into the main drop of the tune that is filled with layers upon layers of atmosphere!

Up next, we have a tune even darker than the opener, "Artificial Mind." Subtle high frequencies cymbals and top loops make the energy unstoppable. An extended breakdown that filters down into the subterranean, filtered bassline releases the tension with a clean drum fill that re-introduces the track at its peak where once again, filtered and reverb-drenched vocal stabs are revealed. The tracks ends just as it began, filtering out the groove and leave just the drums. A perfect tune for those dark, moody nights!

Finally, to close the EP is a thunderous affair, "G-Force." Having awoken the beast of Cendryma's darkness, MUUK's final collaboration on the EP with the American is truly the perfect closer. Atmospheric, energetic, dark and even a little uplifting.

The next release from Cydana Sounds comes from Brazilian rising star Luan Pugliesi, in the form of the Organic/Progressive hybrid pairing of "Breakbox" and "Thinking About."

Hailing from Salvador, Luan's music incorporates organic and electronic elements into a sound that perfectly leans into the many worlds of House music while continuing to have its own standout hallmark.

We begin the EP with "Breakbox." This high energy stormer features a driving, purely rolling bassline; with subtle vocals and atmospheric synth stabs adding a unique depth. Rain samples abound in the second breakdown, where a soft pad defines this brief but emotional moment. This moment of calm suddenly leads into an intensely powerful and uplifting final act that closes the track almost as suddenly as it began.

"Thinking About," is the more mellow partner to "Breakbox." Having settled the energy and featuring a much more natural-inspired atmosphere, this B-side defines its groovy cadence with sparse bass stabs that mellow out into the breakdown and lead into another closing chapter that may just seal the deal for listeners.

Up next for Cydana Sounds is Daniel aka Cendryma's EP "Circles / Enter" from 2024, re-imagined by two of the scene's hottest names.

Having picked up support from the likes of Mariano Mellino at his Audioholics show in December of 2024, the uplifting and powerful pairing of "Circles" and "Enter" introduced Cendryma to an even bigger audience. Now, Argentina-based Kebin van Reeken and Spain's Benja Molina step up to the plate, bringing their own unique flair to the originals.

First up is Kebin van Reeken's pulse-pounding interpretation. Beginning with a mysterious yet meticulously crafted introductory passage that builds the tension further and further. This releases itself into the powerful, techno inspired main section with the significance that one would come to expect from the Dutch mastermind. The breakdown, where the familiar "Circles" melodic figure begins to introduce itself, continues to powerhouse its way into the post-chorus section of the tune. A perfect blend of power and finesse, Kebin van Reeken's remix of "Circles," is exactly the kind of peak-time Progressive that will have you dancing through the night.

The second remix comes from Spain's Benja Molina. Having made his statement debut on the UV label earlier this year, it is clear why he is rising at an astounding pace. Well crafted ear candy, a bassline groove that intensifies continuously throughout the 7 minute runtime and a powerful breakdown define the peak-time Progressive stormer. Uplifting, melodic, energetic and exactly what one comes to expect from the sound of this Spanish superstar.
