If you missed it or want to relive it, we’re broadcasting The Peaking Goddess Collective’s live performance at Mundo de Oz Festival this April.

The Peaking Goddess Collective, a three-piece live digital & organic band known for its outstanding and longstanding performances, was born in Switzerland in 2003. Originally founded by guitarist Ajja S.F. Leu, bass-player Master Margherita and percussionist Dymons , it reached its current formation a year later when flutist Flooting Grooves joined in. The PGC is often linked with Peak Records.
Masterfully fusing acoustic instruments & electronic devices to form a unique style – the Collective is known for its unmistakable approach to trance, be it chilled ethnic beats, expansive morning trance or foot-stomping psytrance.

Each musician in the PGC actively participates in the live and studio sound designing and tweaking. During their much appreciated live performances, several laptops are synchronised and most of the tracks are spread out over more then one computer. Bass-lines, hi-hats, samples and synth-lines are dropped in live and the instruments are run through loopers and master fx boards, giving their shows a very spontaneous and organic feel, while ensuring that the sonic quality is top-notch. You could safely say that until they are playing live at a party or recording in the studio, their tracks only exist in potential…

Since its formation The Peaking Goddess Collective has performed extensively in parties, festivals and happenings around the world, including the Boom Festival, Soulclipse, Zoom, Doof, Life Festival, Alex Grey’s MicroCOSM gallery and the Berlin Tattoo Convention. The Collective’s live feasts have pleased crowds in Switzerland, Portugal, Germany, Holland, England, Ireland, Scotland, Turkey, Israel and the USA. In the second half of 2007, the PGC will perform in festivals around Europe, including the Wickerman Festival and the Psychedelic Ceilidh.

The PGC has contributed with several chill intro and outros on Peak night-time compilations, as well as full-fledged compositions on each of Peak Records’ chill compilations. Many of its live performances have been recorded and self-released. “Organika ”, the Collective’s debut studio album was released on Peak Records on August 17, 2007.

Although its members have all established themselves successfully as separate musical entities, they continue to perform together in trance parties and music festivals worldwide – because they enjoy the organised chaos of playing together, and all are in agreement that their Collective works are often richer and more diverse then their solo projects. The sum is greater than its parts…

Played Thursday morning during sunrise at Burning Man 2016 at the Hyperbole sound camp closing out Wormhole Wednesday on the Playa. SynSUN (Synthesized Sunshine) - is an iconic Ukrainian psytrance project famous worldwide. In 15 years of existence SynSUN released 5 albums, 5 E.P.s and more than 30 tracks for the other compilations becoming a global giant of trance music. In SynSUN’s discography can be found remixes and tracks written in collaboration with such renowned projects as Infected Mushroom, Astral Projection, Skazi, Yahel, Talamasca, Eskimo, Ticon, Vibe Tribe, Bliss, Wizzy Noise, etc.

SynSUN was founded in 1998 by Andrey Vakhnenko (Andi Vax) and Vitaly Samolyga (Willy). Even at the beginning of the career in 2001 it entered the 10 best psy trance projects (Inpsyde Media label rating, Italy). In 2006 SynSUN received an award for becoming the best CIS psy trance project from Good Food Sun Trance. The crutial moment in SynSUN’s history was a landmark album «We Are The World» which was created in the new line-up: Andrey Vakhnenko (Andi Vax) and Evgeniy Riabinin (Jackie White).

After the release of the album authors received many offers from famous labels and invitations to perform worldwide. Among the most significant events with SynSUN live performances are Tomorrowland Festival (EDM-largest festival in Europe 180,000, Belgium), Indian Spirit (Germany), Boomerang NYE Festival (South Africa), Life Festival (Ireland), National Liberty Festival (Netherlands), as well as appearances in iconic events in Switzerland, England, Portugal, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Israel, Hungary, Russia and so on. Since 2010 Evgeniy Riabinin (Jackie White) stands behind the project and Andrey Vakhnenko focused on his own studio and ANDI VAX project development but he always controls all SynSUN tracks high production level while mastering. Since 2011 SynSUN holds is the leader of psytrance TOP rated Showbiza.

Love music and dance! Grew up on rock n roll and classic rock; dancing the night away from a very young age at huge family parties.

In my late teens enjoyed rock, alternative, jazz, clubby edm sounds. Was introduced to psytrance in my early 20s and after my first holiday in Goa, the world of psychedelic music captured my heart.

Today I strive to weave together sounds from various genres into a seamless flow and hopefully take you on a musical journey as you dance and float away on a wonderful trip.
