Ghost of a Star (excerpt / wip)

"Ghost Of A Star" is a track composed and recorded by swefn during the final week of May 2025 in Eora / Sydney. The song is accompanied by the interlude "hwisprian", a minimal, abstract and experimental drone piece.

Sidereal emanations, forest rhythms, jagged edges, spirits in the room, nocturne.

The heritage of the music rests with unconscious traces of baroque, galant, folk, noise (power electronics) materialised as IDM / experimental electronic dance layered with laconic lyrics and ethereal vocal samples. 

The track was released on the 20th of August 2025 across streaming and select radios.
