For Cymatic Audio 014 we invited Magnetic North founder Fen.

Introducing Fen, the creative force steering Magnetic North, an event collective based in Sheffield. Having been involved in the world of electronic music for the past ten years, Fen has committed himself to the immersive domains of techno and bass-infused music.

"This mix uses the crate I had planned for the Magnetic North event in Manny, it was made for an opening set and is heavily inspired by dub-techno. It wanders into some more percussive, bass driven tracks but circles back round to some old school records that embody a lot of what I love when it comes to that sound; the space, the crunch, the swing."

As Fen makes the move to London, immerse yourself in this audio journey that bridges Sheffield to the capital, capturing the eclectic sound of Magnetic North.
