Welcome to the first in my new regular mix series entitled Anything Goes; where each mix is all all off the cuff and often multi-genre dance music, of records I enjoy from all over the years, and hope not only do you enjoy them, but they make you dance or at least tap your feet.

The first mix starts with some disco-infused tracks before moving into a bouncy, house selection, where it's obvious that I grew up on listening to music where the baseline was the heart of a track. Big up Birmingham! Ultimately, it's all house music in my eyes; no sub-genres. So kick back, listen, enjoy and let me know which is your favourite track!

Anything Goes Mix Series: The Definition Mix

I had so much fun with this one! A blend of records from the past 10 years that i've enjoyed playing; whether at home or out in clubs...just a real selection of some great music. 

As per, it's been taken all over the gaff - (we don't do sub-genres!) - but there are some corkers in this one. The opening record is a dark, moody and bass heavy track from Moody Jones and it ends with a 'unicorn' of a record in Niminos - I Only Smoke When I Drink. (I still think with better marketing, this track could have been a crossover track!)
A special mention for the J-KEY track; it just works and when the hats open up, the song tacks off.

Anything Goes Mix March 2025 001

After recording one mix, the flow kept rolling, so I went straight in with another. Not sure i've ever played 2 two remixes of an original that starts the mix before; but I enjoyed it. The Torren Foot track is still a horrid track to mix in and out of; but it's such a belter. Derrick Carter played it at Defected Malta in 2023 and I remember the whole of the Treehouse dancefloor lose their minds. 

Some old, some new including the last track, Sea Of Faces, which is a new one from me. 

I hope you dig it and it makes you bop about a bit!
