The Dark Chronicles Series Part 36 | Kickswitch (NL)

I recorded a mix of some of my favourite and some classic early hardcore songs! Early hardcore is what got me into the hardcore genre when I fell into the YouTube rabbit hole a few years ago. 

Hope you enjoy the mix! Mix starts at 155 bpm and ends at 205 bpm. Recorded using Pioneer DDJ-400 with Rekodbox.

My Biographie


Infos :

 Sein bürgerlicher Name ist Florian Köhler und er erblickte am 12.05.1986 das Licht der Welt.

Im Alter von 14 Jahren kaufte er sich von seinem Konfirmationsgeld seine ersten pitchbaren Dreher, CD Player und Mischpult. Er fing an, sich das Mixen selbst bei zu bringen, indem er sich einen Track nahm und diesen immer wieder Mixte, bis das funktionierte und nahm dann andere Tracks dazu. Mit 16 Jahre, fing er bei seinem ersten Web Radio an und machte dort immer weiter seine Sendungen. In den letzten Jahren hat er mehrere Web Radios durchlaufen und stoß dort immer wieder auf Positive Resonanzen. Auch beim Offenen Kanal Bremen hat er ein paar Sendungen gemacht. Mittlerweile hat er schon auf einigen Event's wie Nature One (Camping Stage), DorfMove usw. aufgelegt. Angefangen mit Hands Up, verfiehl er mit den Jahren immer mehr den Hardstyle & Hardcore Beatz. Mittlerweile reichen die Style's von Minimal, Electro, über House, Hands Up, Hardstyle & Hardcore, Gabber & Schranz, bis hin zum Terror & Speedcore...

Je weiter sich seine Style's erweiterten, mussten auch verschiedene Dj Namen zu den verschiedenen Style's her, um eine Aufteilung zu finden und es den Menschen zu erleichtern, zu wissen auf welchen Style sie sich einstellen können, wenn er irgendwo auflegt...

Da die ersten offenen und offiziellen Style's Hardstyle, Hardcore Gabber & Schranz waren, kam es somit zu dem ersten festen namen "Darkcore", unterdem er seit dem auch nur Hardstyle, Hardcore, Gabber & Schranz unter die Feierwütigen bringt...

Nachdem er durch einen Kollegen dann anfing auch Minimal zu legen und zu diesem Style der Name "Darkcore" irgendwie nicht so wirklich passte, musste also ein zweiter Name daher... Nach kurzer Überlegung, war er da... Ab da an, nannter er sich "Electraxx" und legte unter diesem Namen Minimal auf und zog die Style's Electro, House & Hands Up, direkt mit unter diesen Namen...

Und es sollte noch schlimmer, lauter, härter und vorallem noch schneller und brachialer werden... Es kam der Terror & Speedcore dazu und da weder "Darkcore" und schon gar nicht "Electraxx" zu diesem Style passte, musste wohl oder übel noch ein dritter Name daher... Es wurde überlegt, überlegt und nochmal überlegt, gegrübelt gegrübelt und nochmal gegrübelt, bis er zu dem Entschluss kam, das der Name "BrainCrackin", was übersetzt "HirnSpaltung" heißt, ganz gut zu diesem Style passt...

Somit wurde aus einer Person, ein Dj mit den 3 Namen:

Dj Electraxx für: Minimal / Electro / House / Hands Up

Dj Darkcore für: Hardstyle / Hardcore / Gabber / Uptempo / Terror / Frenchcore

Dj BrainCrackin für: Terror / Speedcore
