Adi Shakti is the second single release by Cypress from the upcoming album Altar. Cypress’ signature vocals offer a distinct blend of dynamic musicality, enrapturing melody, and healing resonance.

The mantra and and its composition are both explorations of primal divine feminine energy—Shakti's embodiment of strength, power, love, and protectiveness—and the unfolding of her more refined, subtle forms and expressions.

The arrangement mirrors this, her vast expressiveness and cyclical evolution, the slow build of layered instrumentation—also deeply influenced by shamanic and plant medicine practices. Cypress’ sound meditations are full body listening experiences, opening us to new realms of beauty, insight, and presence.
